Ultrasigns Electrical Advertising (San Diego) announces its purchase of a Durst Rho Pictor Flatbed UV Inkjet Printer. The Rho 600 Pictor is UV-curable flatbed printer that lays down 30-picolitre ink droplets for crisp, color-accurate images at true 600x600-dpi resolution. On our machine we have added two additional heads, one for white ink printing, plus another head for special-effect clear varnish printing. The Rho 600 Pictor prints directly onto virtually any surface up to 62” wide and 1.58”thick – at print speeds of approximately 200 square feet per hour. Designed primarily for rigid substrates, the Rho 600 Pictor has a productive hardware-and-software option for printing small signs. We also added roll feed-and-take-up which allows us to print onto roll medias. Its print quality is so good that it prints type down to 4 pt. in size. The Rho 600 Pictor is ideal for oversized photo-quality images, prototyping, POP displays and signage, as well as a wider variety of indoor and outdoor applications
